Jason Wellman Steps into President Role for The ESOP Association's Wisconsin Chapter

jason-wellmanWe are thrilled to announce that our very own Jason Wellman, Director of Ownership Culture at ESOP Partners, has assumed the position of President of the Wisconsin Chapter of The ESOP Association. His career trajectory and passion for employee ownership have culminated in this exciting new role, combining his deep industry knowledge with enhanced leadership opportunities.

Jason's position at the helm of the Wisconsin Chapter will bring tremendous advantages to ESOP Partners' clients. As an established leader in our industry, Jason's insights and advocacy efforts will benefit our clients. His continued efforts in pushing the envelope of employee ownership culture and communication strategies will enable the association to remain at the forefront of the industry.

"I am thrilled to share that I have been appointed as the President of The ESOP Association's Wisconsin Chapter for 2024! This role is not just a title but a commitment to lead and continue to build on the past successes of this award-winning chapter.

As President, my primary responsibility is to steer our chapter in realizing the goals of our Strategic Plan. This includes:

  • Presiding over our Chapter meetings, including the Annual Spring and Fall Conferences.
  • Delegating various chapter activities such as Programming, Education, Communications, Fundraising/Sponsorships, Government Relations, and Membership to our capable officers.
  • Ensuring fluid communication between our Chapter and the National Office.
  • Representing our Chapter at the State and Regional Chapter Council meeting and other relevant organizational meetings.
  • Facilitating critical processes like succession planning and annual budget preparation.
  • Leading the nominations for 'ESOP Company of the Year' and 'Employee Owner of the Year' awards.

I am committed to this role, ensuring our chapter thrives and our members feel the real impact and benefits of being part of this amazing community.
